Group Mobile Home Resident Negotiations

A mobile home park owner demanded that park residents relocate their homes to make room for a massive utility project. For homes that could not be moved based on their condition, the owner offered a below-market purchase price. Tenants who lack legal representation and are forced into this type of buyout often end up homeless. CPLP volunteer attorneys intervened to prevent this outcome, counseling 14 families in negotiations with the park owner that led to fairer settlements for each family.
