Colorado Poverty Law Project currently hosts free legal clinics in Denver County and Larimer County.

Denver County Court Clinic (in-person)

Where: Denver City and County Building, 1437 Bannock St, Denver, CO 80202
When: Thursdays and Fridays, 8:00am-12:00pm

Are you seeking legal assistance about an eviction case that has been filed in Denver County? Our tenant attorneys are available in person from 8am – 12pm on Thursdays and Fridays in Room 163 of Denver City and County Building.

No RSVP required. Attorneys may not be able to speak with all attendees and will have to prioritize tenants who have a return date (more about your return date below) scheduled for that date.

We serve people in the order that they arrive, so it is best to arrive early and plan to be there for a few hours.

Partner organizations are also available at this clinic to provide support with rental assistance applications.

Larimer County Court Clinic (in-person)

Where: Larimer County Justice Center, 201 LaPorte Ave, Fort Collins, CO 80521
When: Tuesdays, 9:00am-12:00pm

Are you seeking legal assistance about an eviction case that has been filed in Larimer County? Our tenant attorneys are available in person from 9am – 12pm on Tuesdays in Room 403 + 404 (4th floor) of the Larimer County Justice Center. If you cannot attend in person, please contact us to arrange virtual support.

No RSVP required. Attorneys may not be able to speak with all attendees and will have to prioritize tenants who have a return date (more about your return date below) scheduled for that date.

We serve people in the order that they arrive. It is best to arrive early and plan to be there for a few hours. Please bring any relevant paperwork.

What’s a “Return Date?”

We are so glad you asked. A “return date” in an eviction case is the date a tenant must go to court to respond to the eviction lawsuit. This court date is listed on the summons.
