Legal Assistance
The First Step Toward Getting Help
If you need legal support, the most effective way to reach us is by filling out an intake form. This allows us to understand your situation and connect you with the most appropriate services or legal resources.
Free In-Person Legal Clinics
If you’re facing eviction and have a case filed in Denver County, you can speak with a tenant attorney at our weekly in-person clinics. These are walk-in sessions where legal experts provide free support and guidance for urgent housing issues.
When and Where to Go
Legal clinics are held every Thursday and Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Denver Courthouse (Room 163).
No appointment is required—just come during clinic hours. Please be aware that we prioritize individuals with an Answer due that day and serve others on a first-come, first-served basis.
What to Expect
Due to high demand, we may not be able to assist everyone. To maximize your chances of being seen, arrive early and plan to stay for several hours. While we cannot guarantee service to all visitors, our team works hard to help as many people as possible.
On-Site Rental Assistance Support
In addition to legal help, partner organizations are present during clinic hours to assist with rental assistance applications. This means you can access multiple types of support—all in one place.
Connecting You to Long-Term Support
If your case requires additional assistance, we can refer you to a network of volunteer attorneys, legal aid providers, and community organizations. Our goal is to ensure you have access to the long-term support and services you need beyond the clinic.
