CPLP offers FREE Benefits Assistance Services to help individuals and families access public benefits that can support financial stability, health, and housing stability.
Our Benefits Assistance Program provides individualized support, including:
- Benefits counseling to help determine which programs you may qualify for
- Application assistance to help you complete and submit benefits applications
- Documentation support to help gather medical, financial, and other required documents
- Guidance throughout the application process and help understanding next steps
- Referrals to community resources and legal services when additional support is needed
- Legal advocacy and appeals for eligible cases
What Benefits Can We Help With?
Our team can provide assistance with applications, questions, and other issues related to:
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI)
- Medicaid
- Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) services
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
- Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
- Other federal, state, and local public assistance programs, depending on your circumstances
Our goal is to help people overcome barriers and access the resources they need to build a more stable life.
All services are provided free of charge.
